Wedding Celebrant London
Looking for a wedding celebrant in London who'll create a ceremony that feels completely like you? You’ve found me!
I'm Zadie, a professionally trained wedding celebrant and vibrant storyteller, who creates completely bespoke wedding ceremonies for fun, modern couples who want their wedding to feel personal, meaningful and engaging from start to finish.
Based in Milton Keynes with easy access into London, I regularly work with couples getting married across the capital, from 5-star hotels and historic palaces to theatres, industrial spaces and some brilliantly unusual London wedding venues.
With over 12 years in the wedding and events industry, plus a background in acting and storytelling, I understand how your ceremony fits into the bigger picture of your wedding day. I combine storytelling, energy and a touch of theatre to create something that feels more like a live experience than a formal script. Think sentimental without the cringe, funny without the awkward, and completely, undeniably you.
Most importantly, my ceremonies are designed so your guests don’t get bored just sitting quietly and watching it happen. They’re engaged and fully part of the moment with you, reacting and enjoying hearing your story. So by the time you head back down that aisle, the atmosphere for the rest of your wedding day is already well and truly set.
Let’s CREATe your ceremony to be full of your personality

London wedding venuesI love
London is home to some seriously incredible wedding venues. Whether you’re drawn to 5-star luxury, grand historic buildings, botanical glasshouses, West End theatres or cool, design-led spaces tucked away in the city, there’s truly something for every kind of couple.
As a wedding celebrant working across London, these are just a few of my favourite venues I love creating ceremonies at:
Kew Gardens - Richmond
World-famous gardens with some impressive spaces to choose from, including the light-filled Nash Conservatory and the spectacular Victorian Temperate House. Perfect if you want the greenery and romance of an outdoor wedding, without actually leaving London.
Brown’s Hotel (Rocco Forte) - Mayfair
An iconic 5-star hotel combining historic London character with modern luxury. Its elegant private rooms, high ceilings and chandeliers make it particularly lovely for intimate weddings that feel luxurious and curated for your favourite people.
Lumiere London - Central
A collection of design-led spaces across London, from characterful Shoreditch lofts to an elegant Belgravia townhouse. Brilliant for couples who want a stylish city wedding somewhere a little less traditional, with plenty of flexibility to make the space their own.
Theatre Royal Drury Lane - Covent Garden
One for the theatre lovers - you can have your ceremony on the stage of one of London's most historic theatres, beneath the chandeliers of the Regency-style Grand Saloon, or in its hidden garden! If you want somewhere dramatic, full of history and completely different from a traditional wedding venue, this is pretty hard to beat.
St Pancras Hotel - King’s Cross
One of London's most recognisable historic buildings, with soaring ceilings, grand event spaces and that iconic staircase. A brilliant choice if you want full-scale London grandeur, with the convenience of a 5-star hotel and everything happening under one roof, right by a really convenient train station!
What your ceremony could look like
Every ceremony I create is built from scratch around you - your story, your personalities, your energy. No templates, no scripts pulled off a shelf, and definitely not the boring bit before the party.
Your bespoke London wedding ceremony might include personal vows, heartfelt and humorous storytelling, readings or songs that mean something to you, symbolic moments (modern, not cringe), fun or surprising elements, music that feels like you, guest involvement (if that's your vibe), and traditions modernised (or none at all).
The goal is simple: a ceremony experience that feels intentional, emotional, fun, and unmistakably you.
and with the ceremonies by zadie experience, you’ll also get:
A celebrant who feels like a friend from the start, not a stranger reading from a clipboard
A creative, fun-filled planning journey that gets the ideas flowing and includes guidance when you have decisions to make
A ceremony woven with storytelling, humour, and genuine emotional depth
Someone who feels the room, lifts the energy, and brings your guests into the moment
A delivery that's warm, electric, and completely in tune with you.
Your ceremony becomes more than a moment.
It becomes an experience your guests will feel part of, remember, and talk about long after the day itself.

"she did an amazing job, was so friendly and really put us both at ease. We have had lovely feedback from all our guests who have said our ceremony was the best they had been to."

Things for Wedding Guests to Do in London
If your guests are making a weekend of it, London won’t leave them short on things to do:
For the explorers: London has no shortage of iconic places to explore, including Old Royal Naval College, Somerset House and the Natural History Museum. And fun fact, all three can double up as pretty spectacular London wedding venues too (just some extra options for you)! They could also take a walk along the South Bank for some of London’s most iconic views or head to the Tower of London for a dose of history. For something a little less touristy, exploring neighbourhoods like Hampstead, Greenwich or Notting Hill is a lovely way to spend a few hours.
For the foodies: London is basically one enormous playground. Grab something from Borough Market, book somewhere special for dinner, or spend an afternoon eating your way around Soho. From tiny independent restaurants to Michelin-starred dining, there’s something for pretty much every taste and budget.
For the culture lovers: Spend a few hours exploring the Barbican, head to the Tate Modern, catch a West End show or wander through one of London's many museums and galleries. You could easily build an entire wedding weekend around what your guests are into.
For the shoppers: Covent Garden and Seven Dials are brilliant for a mix of independent shops and bigger names, while Regent Street, Carnaby Street and Oxford Street are ideal if your guests fancy making a proper shopping trip of it.
For those recovering from the night before: A slow brunch followed by a wander along the Thames sounds about right. Or, if everyone’s still got some life left in them, round off the wedding weekend with a Sunday roast and one last drink together before heading home.

Is this right for you
This experience is designed for couples who want something more than a standard scripted ceremony. If you’re looking for a start to your wedding day that reflects your personalities, brings your guests into your story, and sets the tone for an unforgettable celebration, we may be the perfect match.
If you’re looking for a formal, traditional ceremony with little to no personal input, I’m probably not the right celebrant for you - and that’s completely okay!
